I bought these as an EV800D-style option for my analogue 5.8GHz quad and the dual receiver performance has been genuinely solid. The 5-inch screen feels much easier to fly with than I expected, especially on longer sessions.
Arrived quickly and was easy to pair with my existing 40CH setup. I mainly use them for park flying and bench testing, and the large screen makes checking camera angle and signal quality far simpler.
As a mid-level FPV pilot I wanted a dedicated analogue headset without paying Fat Shark money. These have been a brilliant compromise, with stable reception and enough screen size to feel immersive without being fiddly.
The picture is clear enough for live flying and the dual receiver does seem to help when I'm near trees. They are a bit bulkier than premium goggles, but for the price and functionality I can't complain much.
I use them with an LS-800D style analogue setup and they worked straight away. Signal hold has been noticeably better than my old single-receiver headset, and the controls are simple enough to use at the field.
Good value and very usable as a spare pilot headset as well as a main pair for relaxed flying. My only minor gripe is that the casing is larger than slimline competitors, but the big 5-inch display is exactly why I chose it.
I was comparing these against Skyzone entry options and went with HDDual because I wanted a proper box-style head mounted FPV display. For analogue drone flying the viewing experience is excellent and it feels like money well spent.
